Founding & Mission

In November of 2011, Deborah formed The Palm of Deborah Company (formerly known as The Palm of Deborah Enterprises) as her personal outreach organization with a mission of influencing a new era of leadership to recreate a world culture that celebrates women and appreciates the treasure that they gift to the world.  This mission is fulfilled through writing, speaking and other multi-media experiences.

Vision

Deborah is on a mission to lead a Worthy Woman Revolution - encouraging, inspiring and equipping a “company of women” to rediscover their value, arise in unity with God and one another, and influence the world!

Through this revolution, Deborah envisions women developing their personal power and using their talents, abilities, gifts and skills or what she calls – treasure to enrich the world.  This organization is dedicated to creating, producing, distributing, publishing and promoting women of influence so they can have a greater impact on the culture and causes of the 21st. Deborah believes that 21st century women are being called upon to be warriors to reclaim the culture for the kingdom of God.

Origins

The name of the organization and mission was inspired by her Biblical namesake, Deborah, the powerful leader, warrior and only woman judge in the nation of Israel during the Old Testament Biblical era.  Her victorious saga is depicted in Judges 4 & 5.

Additionally, the company name was influenced by a favorite scripture, Psalms 68:11 which states "The Lord gave the word and great was the company of those that published it". The word "company" is translated from the Hebrew word "tsaba" and Strong's Concordance as feminine in gender and means "a mass of women organized for warfare (an army)".

This organization is a call for women of the 21st century to recognize their personal power by positioning themselves to be in right relationship with God and in harmonious equality with men. It is a battle cry to rise up, not in feminism but with an unmistakable femininity and fearlessness empowered by the Holy Spirit to produce a more victorious outcome!
